The Villagers groundnut oil is an all-purpose, healthier cooking choice. The product comes from our in house integrated farm where every step of the process is natural and no artificial pesticides substances are added to our any of our produce. We diligently take care to source groundnuts that are not malformed, rotten or stored for a long time (thus avoiding noxious pesticides to keep off pests). The oil is unrefined and is extracted using traditional wood pressing technique (Mara Chekku as commonly known in in Tamil) and clarified using time consuming sun dried – natural sedimentation. This process is done in low heat environment to ensure the groundnuts retain their essential vitamins & Minerals thus producing more healthy and nutritious oil, while retaining its aroma and taste. The oil may appear a bit cloudy or have tiny sediments at the bottom of the bottle; but it is not a cause of concern keeping in mind the nature of unrefined oils. This is not a mass production oil, it’s a really pure handcrafted oil made for the selective customers who appreciate quality.
