Theres magic at the time when night meets day, when delicate fingers meets delicate leaves, and black meets green. This beautiful Oolong, aptly called Maya or Magic in Sanskrit, is enchanting all the way from brewing to consuming. The leaves, which mostly are one leaf and a bud or sometimes two leaves and a bud, are hand-plucked at the mystical hour of dawn in the lush estates of Darjeeling. The leaves are withered with fresh air at ambient temperature for 40 hours and then, gently rolled by experienced feminine hands to facilitate partial rolling and rupturing of the cell. So that they can be oxidized in a slow and controlled manner. And that is how this delicate Oolong retains its inherent properties of its succulent leaves and gives you the experience of drinking a cup of magic. Our teas taste best in their natural form, without any milk or sugar. A little milk and sugar or honey and lime can be added to complement your taste preferences. Best enjoyed at: Midmorning and afternoon. The sensory experience: The light amber colour of the tea has a bright reflection, an indication of high grown tea.
