Description
Diti in Sanskrit means “King” and this Darjeeling black tea is a veritable aristocrat. It has all the pedigree of the Darjeeling black tea, added with a singular twirled long leaf look from being withered and rolled in an artisan factory, and a subtle yet distinctive flavour. At the tail end of the second flush season, when the leaves become softer, they boast of a sweeter aroma and a more subtle flavour than the typical Darjeeling second flush. Diti tea is born of these leaves, carefully plucked to retain the two leaves and a bud for the entire yield. The tea leaves are nurtured by the cool, refreshing winds of the snowy Himalayan range. The leaves are treated in an organic process which not only adds to the flavour but also enhances its health benefits. Our teas taste best in their natural form, without any milk or sugar. A little milk and sugar or honey and lime can be added to complement your taste preferences. Best enjoyed at: Early morning or late evening The sensory experience: Diti Black Tea turns a pale auburn colour when brewed. It has light muscatel fruity flavour and a subtle sweet floral aroma.
