Embellished with rose fronds, it is your source of rejuvenation when you want all things natural.Sourced from the elevations of Arunachal, these tea leaves are not grown ordinarily; but involve methods of Vrikshayurveda (ancient Indian science of Agriculture). And this method is successfully accredited for the wonderful end products that are received.The leaves are plucked at the crack of dawn and steamed immediately to arrest fermentation which imparts it the elegant green color. Then the leaves are rolled in 16 mini rollers without applying any weight. The leaves get laced with the juices under their own weight, in the well of the rolling table. This avoids rupturing of leaves which in turn avoids fermentation. Then the rolled teas are dried at 80-85 C very slowly in tray dryers for over 2 hours. Thereafter, the Azaya Rose teas are sent to an organic farm of the Pink City Jaipur, where at sunrise, organic rose petals are mixed with the tea leaves and stored underground for 10-15 days. Here, the fragrance is transferred from rose to green tea.
