Description
White Tea is essentially unprocessed tea. It is made from the buds of the tea bush. To produce white tea, the buds are plucked and allowed to dry. It really is that simple. There is a certain degree of natural oxidation during air-drying of leaves, resulting in a variation in the colour from pale green to light brown or yellow. White tea has the most subtle aroma and flavour, and is known to delay skin ageing. Rare and delicate, white tea is subtle and mellow, clean and fresh. Although white tea is the least processed variety of tea, it requires careful tending, picking, and selection. It is delicate in flavour and lacks the astringency and grassiness of black tea and green tea. This blend is delicately scented white tea made only from the fine tips of silver needle with a pale olive green liquor and a mildly fruity and sweet taste.
