Description
Free radicals are Oxygen atoms that are split into single atom with an unpaired electron. They are unstable and bond with other atoms and molecules to become stable. In our body the free radicals are formed as by products of cell metabolism reaction. Free radicals react with the cell walls and generate more free radical. This chain continues and thereby destroys the cell leading to oxidative stress. Oxidative stress. Smoking, Consumption of fried foods and environmental pollution increases oxidative stress. Free radicals induces atherosclerosis, cataract and Macular Degeneration, Cancer, Inflammation, aging, wrinkles and many more. The free radicals can be prevented, Neutralized and controlled by use of Antioxidants. Antioxidants are naturally present in plant and fruits.
