Description
Carob, imported from Madagascar, carob is a dog-friendly substitute for chocolate. Carob contains as much vitamin B1 as asparagus or strawberries; the same amount of niacin as lima beans, lentils, or peas; and more vitamin A than eggplant, asparagus, and beets. Its also high in vitamin B2, calcium, magnesium, and iron. Coconuts contain the beneficial fatty acid: Lauric acid, which boosts the immune system response. They also improve digestion, thyroid function, metabolic mechanisms, and provide protection and defence against viral, pathogenic, fungal, and bacterial infections.
