Description
Mills and Browns double acting baking powder is a dry chemical leavening agent, a mixture of a carbonate or bicarbonate and a weak acid which is used for increasing the volume and lightening the texture of baked dishes. This powder includes components to improve their consistency and stability. Generally one teaspoon (5 grams (0.18 oz)) of baking powder is used to raise a mixture of one cup (125 g) of flour. Perfect for baking white cakes, cream biscuits, chocolate cookies, pastries, buns, puddings, cookies, waffle etc. It makes them light, fluffy and soft.
