The Hilex water tank overflow alarm as seen in the image below works on 230V AC 50Hz, uses AA size battery, and includes a wire to be kept in the tank at any level you choose. As the rising water in the tank touches the wire, the alarm sends an audio signal that alerts you of the overflow.
