Description
Some birds such as robins, barn swallows, wrens and phoebes prefer open nesting shelters rather than traditional, enclosed bird houses.Flush mount our nesting shelter to a post, wall or under the eave of your house. Barn swallows are communal nesters and you may have better luck if you mount several of these together to attract these birds to nest. From time to time you may attract cardinals if the nesting shelter is located properly. For cardinals, you will want to mount this 2 – 3 feet from the ground in a brushy area away from areas frequented by predators such as domestic cats.
