Description
“Unrefined or partially refined soft sugar consisting of sugar crystals with some residual molasses content, (natural brown sugar) or sugar produced by the addition of molasses to refined white sugar (commercial brown sugar) are also the types of brown sugar. It is used just like granulated white sugar but it provides a touch of extra flavor. Brown sugar is commonly used for sweetening baked goods, beverages, sauces, and marinades. The granules and slightly acidic pH in brown sugar have made it useful in body scrubs. “
