This kit allows you to bypass the flow restrictor and “power flush” the membrane(s) free of scale build-up and removes organic and inorganic contaminants from the membrane surface. By flushing the membrane(s) regularly you can help extend the life of the membrane(s). Ideally, you want to flush the membrane(s) Open the manual flush valve for approximately 5-10 minutes once a week or more often for approximately 60 seconds every time you use this Flush Kit RO Membrane flush kits increase the flow to the membrane by bypassing the flow restrictor. This helps flush deposits and increase the usable life of the RO membrane. flushing the membrane before and after each use or every few weeks as part of regular reverse osmosis system maintenance. Flush valves are used on some but not all reverse osmosis units. If you have a standard RO unit, it probably doesn’t have one. But can be easily added.
